Killing Fields at Choeung Ek

There are many killing fields all over Cambodia. Here at Choeung Ek an estimated 17.000 people were killed, mostly clubbed to death to save ammunition. Many were taken here from Tuol Sleng.

A stupa was constructed to show the dug up remains. A reminder of the Khmer Rouge crimes.
